By accessing, booking, or using Laplace Expert Ltd's services, you (“the Client”) agree to be bound by these comprehensive Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Overview

Laplace Expert Ltd provides consultancy, writing/editing, academic coaching, relocation guidance, and freelance project assistance worldwide. We operate exclusively online, maintaining transparency, confidentiality, and professionalism.

Service Engagement

All engagements begin once payment is received and confirmation is issued. Scope, timelines, and deliverables will be clearly communicated in writing. Services are advisory in nature and not guaranteed to achieve specific external results such as admissions, visas, or employment offers.

Payment Terms

Consultation and document-editing sessions require full upfront payment. Multi-stage projects may be eligible for instalment payments per mutual written agreement. Laplace Expert reserves the right to pause work for unpaid invoices.

Cancellations and Refunds

If the Client cancels before commencement, a partial refund may be issued at Laplace Expert's discretion. Once a session or project has begun, no refunds will be provided except as required under UK consumer law.

Confidentiality

We treat all personal data, essays, and client communications as strictly confidential. Information will never be shared with third parties without consent unless legally required.

Data Protection

We are fully compliant with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. Clients may request data access, correction, or deletion by contacting us directly.

Intellectual Property

All materials and deliverables remain the intellectual property of Laplace Expert unless explicitly transferred. Clients receive a non-exclusive licence for personal or academic use only.

Liability

Laplace Expert shall not be liable for losses arising from external decisions, including those by universities, employers, or immigration authorities. Our total liability shall not exceed the fee paid for the relevant service.

Amendments

We may update these Terms periodically. The latest version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
